Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) Network has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the South Korea Embassy in Ghana to air content from the Asian country.
The MoU gives stations under the EIB Network umbrella the opportunity to share with their Ghanaian and African audience some of the cultures of their Asian counterpart. EIB Network is also expected to provide promotion as and when for Korean businesses who want to venture into the Ghanaian market.
The Korean Ambassador to Ghana Woon-Ki LYEO signed the MoU for his country while the General Manager in charge of TV (EIB) Astus Ahiagble initialed for the Network. In attendance were Klaus Von Backustein, Chief Operating Officer (EIB) and Kafui Dey, Programmes Manager, GhOne TV.
Staff of EIB Network will also have the opportunity to be trained in media and production as well as understudy experienced media professionals in South Korea.
The EIB Network operates Starr 103.5 FM, Live 91.9 FM, Kasapa 102.5 FM all in Accra, Ultimate FM and Abusua FM (Kumasi), Agoo FM (Nkawkaw) and Agoo TV, and Empire FM (Takoradi). The group also owns The Daily Heritage newspaper.
