With his wife out of town, an alibi from his best friend, and a gourmet chef to add culinary spice, Captain Morgan has the perfect romantic birthday dinner planned for his French mistress — or so he thinks. Hidden identities and outrageous infidelities are exposed…
Captain Morgan invites Jennifer, his girl friend to have her birthday dinner celebration with him in his house as Mansa; Captain Morgan’s wife leaves for her mother’s. Mansa refuses to go; as Dubedat, Captain Morgan’s best man is invited to the dinner too at the last hour.
Dubedat turns up thinking it’s his birthday dinner instead. Dubedat and Mansa are secret lovers? A cook mistaken for a mistress and a mistress who can’t cook? Mix all these ingredients and you have the perfect recipe for an evening of hilarious confusion as Captain Morgan and Dubedat improvise at breakneck speed.
My Birthday Dinner is an effort led by DE CREW; an uprising production group whose efforts of throwing light on social issues have been laudable for the passed year.
