Hip-life musician, Nii Funny, who shot to fame in September 2015 with his hit single, ‘Broken Heart’ has released three love songs today to mark the lift on the ban on drumming and noise making in Ga Mashi, Accra.
The first song, ‘ODONKPO’ featuring Kesse, was produced by Spanky Beatz. The music video for ‘Odonkpo’ is currently on the editing bench and expected to be on television before the end of June.
The second song is a refix of ‘Broken Heart’ popularly known as ‘YooKo Ebreaki Me’ and features Spanky and the VGRM president and award winning rapper, Edem.
It was amazing to hear Edem rap in Ga.
The third track, ‘FRESH’, features Apaatse. ‘Fresh’ promises to be a street anthem along the Coast and Ga-speaking communities. All three songs are fast-tempo party tunes. Nii Funny, a VGMA nominee, has other songs, ‘Education’, ‘Goliath’, ‘Judas’ and ‘Fear Face’.
Nii Funny’s management is working hard to promote all three songs on the streets, social media, online download sites and mainstream media. The team is trying all available legitimate options to promote the songs.
