Samuel Odoi-Laryea, the creative director of Sub-Saharan Fashion has agreed to be part of Swarovski workshop.

His reason being that, Swarovski elements are being used by great fashion designers like GUCCI, Louis Vuitton to name a few in Europe and America. Also Swarovski has become an integral part of the global fashion industry, hence it has become the most preferred luxury element designers can add to their master piece, due to their high quality crystals and innovative creative designs. he added.

subsaharan1When asked how he knew and started using Swarovski, he attributed and appreciated his late Mentor and boss Mr. Kofi Ansah (A World class fashion designer) who taught him how to use Swarovski elements to take his creation to whole new level. Taken inspiration from the Biblical explanation of how God created the then Lucifer as a symbol of worship, and since human beings are ultimate worshipers created in the image of God, creating a piece of that heavenly experience to the Glory of God for clients cannot not be expressed in words.

Mr. Odoi-Laryea noted that, joining other fashion designers in the Swarovski west Africa workshop to promote African prints is a great achievement for Sub-Saharan Fashion. He added, “Ghanaians are creative in art and have great fashion designers, jewelry makers, just to mention a few”. He concluded that, if all these designers have a touch of Swarovski elements in their works, he believes it will push Ghana to the next level. And who knows, we can be the game changers in using Swarovski elements.
