Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has entreated the Russian business community to consider Ghana as trade and investment root to Africa and invest in the country.
He assured them of favourable trade and investments laws, good returns on investments, widely acknowledged Ghana’s democratic credentials and peace and the proverbial Ghanaian hospitality.
Launching the second African Arts and Crafts Exhibition in St. Petersburg, Russia, Vice President Amissah-Arthur extolled the rich cultural heritage of Ghana and asked the Russian arts and crafts lovers to visit the country and enjoy themselves.
He said it is high time Ghana and Russia deepened their cultural exchanges to further cement the cordial bilateral relations between them.
The Vice President was impressed with the arts and crafts of the three Ghanaians exhibited at the centre.
He thanked the curator for her enormous interest in Ghanaian and for that matter African arts and crafts. The centre also has a resident Ghanaian cultural group, which provides both Ghanaian and African music to visitors.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur encouraged them to remain good ambassadors first of Ghana and secondly Africa.
