The award-winning Rapper poured his anger on his official Facebook Fanpage, and wrote this….”WHEN I WROTE I WILL FIGHT FOR MY REGION…SOME LAMES DID’NT GET IT…I HAVE WATCHED TV3 MENTOR AND VOLTA NORTH WERE NOT PART…I HAVE SAT IN MEETINGS WHERE CERTAIN ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS NEVER GO TO CERTAIN AREAS OF THE COUNTRY. I SPEAK THE TRUTH AND ALL SOME LAME PPL THINK IS POLITICS? IS EVERYTHING POLITICS NOW?”

For times past, the Volta Region has been ‘cut off’ from active Showbiz (just as Edem stated). Some fans and Voltarians agreed to Edem’s post (monitoring from the trending comments on the post and several shares on social media).

The recently held VGMA Nominees Jam had a lot of nulls in the production which many Voltarians and fans who tripped the event grounds expressed utmost dissatisfaction. Many felt the rising artistes from the Region who were billed to perform on the night were ‘disrespected’ and run off the stage (only to play wall music for about an hour interlude).

Some of the Volta artistes expected to grace the occasion expressed their disappointment in the Organizers of the event, Charter House Ghana.
